My log home is now about 2 years old and I am still trying to decide what to paint what drywall I have. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Hi Kathy,
Rita and I must have very similar taste. We used very neutral, earthy colors on the dry wall we have, too. In one hallway, we used a faux finish - Bellagio faux by Behr. I looked at the Ralph Lauren finishes and liked them also. All of these compliment logs nicely, I think. I looked at pictures in magazines like LHL to make my decision. Good Luck! Anne

Anne, thank you so much for your input. I really think the earthy colors are the way to go. I don't have that much dry wall, but obviously we want it to look great with all the wood we having going on. Thanks so much for the help.

If it's bare drywall, you need to get a good primer. We use Benjamin Moore products for our customers. Better to spend the money on a good primer over the cost of paint. Don't skimp on this step!

Thanks, Loretta. My daughter used to be a paint buyer for a major home supply store and agrees that Benjamin Moore is extremely good!
