Want to rent a log home

Hi Jeanne,

I would suggest a simple Google search on "Log home rental GA NC" - I've done similar here in VA and have found tons of places that rent log cabins out. They can be either by owner, or it could be a small group of log cabins people rent:

Some in Georgia
Some in North Carolina

I love google. There's a log home for sale in Finland. I'm gonna go check it out! ;-)

Hey Shad it looks like it has a Tulivki fireplace (soapstone stove) - when you buy it please let me know what you think of the stove. ;-) Dee

These are good people and they will work with you as far as availability with your schedule and you can also check cabin availability on their site.

You can find lots of log cabin/log home both for rent and for sale throughout the mountain areas of Georgia and North Carolina here.

You might want to check out vrbo.com. We used to rent out our chalet through that site. You can search by state and find listings for just about any size group or budget, whether large or small. And there are quite a few log cabins listed there. BTW, vrbo stands for Vacation Rental by Owner.

Hi Jeanne, Im about 2-3 weeks from finishing a beautiful 3 bedroom Daniel Boone log home in Todd, NC. It is Located between the towns of Boone and West Jefferson. This home was built specifically for renting, so it will have all the ameneties that you would need including canoes for the nearby New River, Bikes for cycling on historic railroad grade rd. Tubes for the lazy river only 1.5 miles away, Snowboards and skis to use on the 4 nearby ski resorts. I can send you picture if interested. Good Luck
