Log Home Finishing recently completed this log home maintenance and log repair project in Northern Colorado near Fort Collins.  The log home required walnut shell media blasting to remove the old grey Sikkens Cetol finish which hadn't been re-coated for at least 15 years.  This log home maintenance project took a lot of walnut shell media blasting.  Finally the home was sealed with Sashco Capture stain in the 'Driftwood' Color and top coated with Cascade.  Chinking repair was done with Log Jam Grey.  The log home home is a really good example of good overhangs and a very excellent design.

Love those Sashco Products!  What a beautiful color of the Capture Log Stain Driftwood and the Log Jam grey adds the perfect touch!

Thanks very much, the Driftwood did turn out really nice and exceeded my expectations of the product.  This log home is 20 years old and had been media blasted once before in the past about 15 years ago and not re-stained since.  It took 120 bags of walnut shell and 7 full days of blasting to get everything cleaned to perfection.  Then the staining and chinking only took 3 days after all of the prep work.

Beautiful work, Tom, as always. We appreciate your loyalty to Sashco products and trust our products' performance has earned it.
