Hanging pictures

So how are you guys hanging pictures on your log walls.  Are you banging nails into the walls or using something else?

I really have always had some kind of fright about this (don't kno why). I use small dry wall screws, perferably zinc coated.Use a small battery drill, works great!

Use small nails.  I mean you don't have to worry about locating a 2X4, you can hang anything anywhere.  If you change the location of something, just pull the small nail out!

We bang the nail in - love not having to find a stud!!

I hung our first picture today, we used a brass picture hook with a small brass nail.  Moving in tomorrow, even though we aren't quite done the finishing work.  :)
