The Log Home Neighborhood

An online log home community for log home enthusiasts.

This question has made the Top 10 most asked questions we receive. Typically, when building a Timber Block home, you can expect a much shorter construction time than many homes, especially traditional log homes.

On our top 10 list, this has made number 5 - so we've blogged about it!

The entire time frame is listed on today's Log Home Blog on Complete with pics!

A good answer to this question is "as long as it takes"

That's the beauty of Timber Block Henry! Because the logs are stacked in the controlled environment of our factory, and the wall raising takes less than a day, our customers actually do know exactly how long it takes!

Good Answer Henrey - my builder used to ask - "do you want it done quick or done right?".  As long as it takes to do a good job is a good answer.  Weather delays, contractor delays, material delays play in to any construction time line whether built indoors or at the job site.
