Hey all, hope you are enjoying this day. Wanted to ask a question to those with experience in selecting their own timber on their property for a log cabin. I've decided to harvest white pine for my build, but there is only so much of it on my land with 8-12" diameter let alone straight.
I wanted to ask how "perfect" do the logs really need to be? Ill be doing a scribe fit so I'm thinking it doesn't matter a whole lot but wanted some concrete information from someone with the know how. Thanks in advance and enjoy yourself :)
