Do I need a ridge vent, if I don't have an attic? I have cathedral ceilings (mostly) with tongue-in-groove ceiling, 8" of styrofoam board insulation and then the roof. We have had minor leaks lately, but only with really hard rains and gusty winds. From what I've seen on YouTube, it sounds as if it's a ridge vent problem. My home is 24 years old, but only started leaking in the past 5 years. A new roof was put on in 2016, but still leaks in hard rains. Help!
