Been thinking about using glass backsplashes in my kitchen.
Glass provides an attractive and cost-effective alternative to tile and other backsplashes. With minimal seams, it is much easier to clean than tiles.

But I heard so many people saying, it'll crack easily. If the glass is being installed near a heat source, it'll eventually crack when exposed to the heating element. So I don't know how long it's gonna last in the kitchen.

When I called a nearby custom glass backsplash provider they're saying it won't crack if it is tempered. Is this true?
Just wanted to know more about this before making a final decision, I thought you guys could help.
