The Log Home Neighborhood

An online log home community for log home enthusiasts.

Our log home seems to be a magnet for wasps.  Is this a common problem for people in log homes.  Anyone know of the best way to rid this problem without doing damage to the logs?  We have killed dozens inside and more are all over outside.  I'd love to hear solutions.

Have you tried using an insect repellent designed for log homes? NBS 30 can be used as an additive for stains and it can also be sprayed directly on the home when mixed with water. It is inexpensive and may be an easy fix. Follow this link for more information

Good luck, wasps can be pesky.

Thanks for the info....We will definitely check into this, and will try adding it to the stain next time it needs to be done.  I appreciate the suggestion and website.
