What fireplace insert do you recommend that has sealed doors and is in around 80% efficiency that doesn't cost an arm and a log..

Hey Glenn: Try Acucraft www.acucraft.com. Not sure about their pricing, but their products are first rate! We put a zero-clearance in a spec home a few years ago the the folks who purchased the home LOVE it! It will heat the entire house when the electric is out. With outside air used to fuel the flame - it is very efficient. Let us know what you decide! Donald
