Comment by Tim Bullock on January 6, 2010 at 3:38pm: Michele, The one in Cook's Forest is round log. We are custom design/builders of Handcrafted Log and Timber Homes and each home is priced according to the design/size of logs and delivery distances.
It could be as little as 30/sq/ft but most are averaging 50/sq/ft with some over 100/sq/ft for all of the log and timberworks, delivered and assembled by us. Hope this helps. Tim

Freight is a big item these days and we are closer than the aforementioned.

We have looked at a few companies and really love the handcrafted logs over milled. I was wondering if anyone has any references or imput on different companies. We are located in NE PA and have moslty been looking in upstate NY.
