We are now officially open as a bed and breakfast inn. www.CourtwoodInn.com  Our grand opening special is on until Dec. 31 and is 20% off any reservation in 2015.  This is a good way to actually stay in a log home and we will answer questions about our experience. 209-728-8686

Hi Tom, You ask the hard questions and I'm checking with my contractor for the answer.  I chose color and I wanted the lightest we could find.  This is a bit darker than I was hoping, but it looks lighter in the sun and I guess it does the job of UV protection that we want.  Inside we have a matte clear finish on our cedar logs and they look fantastic.  We have chinking and it is the same color as the wood so you don't notice it.

Looks real nice, is that Permachink stain? Will you be chinking too?
