Carpender Bees

I'll tell you how to get rid of those bees, stand in the area where they are, and swat the hell out of them with your tennis racket, hat, or anything else that is around.  We have contests to see how many we each can hit every day.  It is fun and something to do in the country!  hahaahah

Log Home Construction Problems

I would like to hear from people that have had a bad experience with a log home manufacturer, builder, dealer, or bank. I think it is important to let the public know of any problems, so serious purchasers would know who to avoid! Thanks to all and

Easy Mary,Buying just logs and beams,getting remaining materials locally,and being the general contractor is not cost effective,and is not acceptable to most lenders. Folks who have plenty of free time and deep pockets can build a log home.Log home lovers are independent but they still want to build with a budget.Don't give up on your dream.

Good morning - I was reading one of the blogs where you suggested buying the logs only and getting the other materials locally. We are interested in that route but have not been successful in finding someone for just logs. Thanks for any input
