This isn't really the time of year for this, but wanted to post an easy window cleaning recipe we used yesterday. Instead of hiring to have your windows washed, this is an easy alternative. I climbed a ladder and used a cheap kitchen foam head mop to rub the solution all over the windows. Got the garden hose out and hosed it off. I was born in a log home that my dad and uncle built with logs they cut and hewed by hand the old-fashioned way. When I retired in 1996, I began building & selling log homes. Since that date, our family business has expanded with my son following in my footsteps. We've built many log homes around Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado and love our job as much today as we did in 1996.

Yes I was aware of that, thanks. Full log will likely not be an option unless we want to wait a few extra years to build something. Full log is not the priority. A quality house at a price we can afford sooner rather than later is.
