I am a former employee of Amerlink Log Homes. I am so sorry for the pain and suffering that has been caused due to the companies closing.

Are you lucky enough to be living in a log home?

I'm in the process of trying to set up distribution for American Cedar LogSystems and wanted to see if you might know any good candidates for dealer/distributor? Are you with another log home company? I hope you're prospering in your new endeavors!

now but have to regularly see my doctors and so far everything is

my credit card company and I was told to subtract it from my
bill. I had no idea that I could do that and did not know that it
would be that easy. I was told that we may be charged for
the transaction but at least it won't be $1300.00. I have never
had this problem before and was not aware that I could do
that after it had already cleared through my credit card. I am
just an old country girl and have just learned something new
today. Anyway, thank you so much!! I wish everybody else's

your response. I am going to post some pictures of our house
soon and I hope you can see them. I wanted you to know
also that I did file a complaint against Amerlink with the
Better Business Bureau of North Carolina. It probably will not
do any good!! I do not have any idea how to go about getting
our money back through their credit card and it is too late
to cancel ours because we have already paid it. If you have
any suggestions, please let us know. Have a wonderful
Christmas and good luck finding a new job. I just really feel
sorry for the people that paid for homes and never got it.
Gary and I were very nervous about something like that
happening to us during the time that we were waiting on
back orders. We actually did not check out Amerlink
before we decided to go with you so we did get a little
nervous. We almost did business with Southland or
Heritage Log Homes but chose Amerlink because of
the 30% discount. Oh well, I do wish all the innocent
people good luck and I hope all the guilty ones pay
big time!!!!! The Carr's

all that you did to get our material to us to complete our
log home. After reading all of these horror stories, we feel
fortunate to have received it all. I do feel, however, that
you should not have taken our order for the extra siding.
You could have advised us to wait a while. I have actually
had to go back and tell people that we had recommended
Amerlink to, to NOT even consider this company. It is a
shame and we feel fortunate now that we are only out
$1300.00. Please reply to this Gene. Even though we
have never actually met, Gary and I did consider you
a friend. Our home is beautiful and we love it. Linda

Gary and I are shocked to read all that Amerlink has done to
people trying to build their dream. We feel fortunate that
we were able to finish our home. Although, Amerlink does
owe us for siding that we ordered for our carport and I might
add that you were the one that took our order knowing that
Amerlink was going under. That was wrong of you!! I hope
that all of us ripped off by Amerlink can be repaid.
