"I tell so many people that. :-) Are overnight temps above 40? You'll want to make sure of that, too. The lower the temp, the slower the moisture is to evaporate and the stain to cure. No, labels rarely say anything about those specific…"

"You told me to get one awhile ago!  :-)  No humidity at all - as a matter of fact the last 2 weeks or so have been in the 40s and 50s and warming up this week.  Will the lable say silicone or wax or is there a fancy word they might…"

Heat Exchanger

Does anyone know anything about a heat exchanger that would replace the bathroom fan and reduce the moisture on all the windows - not just the bathroom?  I believe it might be called a Panasonic Whisper Green.  Doesn't have to be that exact one though.Anyone familiar with this sort of thing??See More

Hello again, I just realized that this is your week end house. During the winter up there you need to maintain a higher temperature during the week to keep the condensation from forming. Jim and Pam

Hello Folks, Perhaps you should move to the beach in Delaware to avoid condensation. Just kidding. Fire up that wood stove or fireplace and that con evaporate condensation in that climate because the windows are doing their job so,take a look at your moisture sources and ventilation systems. Hi! Yes our windows are Andersen. I need to check with the contractor as to the door paint. It was a mix. The sled table was from Country Sampler Magazine. Here is the link for the tissue box.

Thank you for your kind comment on our home. It was a life long dream for us. Our home is pine. The logs were supplied by the Mountaineer Log and Siding Company. It is a true log home, not log siding. The stain is Woodguard Honey 2000. Thanks again for you kind comment. Alexis Dyke

Hi Judith, you had asked a question about our stain. We used a medium red-tone brown by Sashco! They are a great group and will send you out numerous free samples! Hope you're doing well and getting some good fishing in! :-)
