After so many years of planning to build our log home, we found a nearly perfect one for us in the same vicinity as our property. The house needs a bit of work. There are 4 gorgeous logs inside on the main level. Apparently they were cut about 8-10 inches too short and don't quite reach floor to ceiling. The builder filled in the gaps with these ugly wood boxes.
