Greetings, Gatorgene! I little bit of history about Appalachian Log Structures, Inc (ALSI) and the relationship with BPB Log Homes. As one of the original Homeowners of an ALSI log home and a current employee of same hopefully I can shed some light…
I am VP of Sales for Appalachian Log Structures, Inc. (ALSI) in Ripley, WV. I am a graduate Forester from West Virginia University and have worked in the wood preservation industry for the past 31 years. My love of log homes lead me to purchase a home from and ultimately be employed by ALSI. What a great industry to work in!
Are you lucky enough to be living in a log home?
Absolutely! Kathy & I built our log home home in 1980 and have loved every minute of it!
What timeframe are you looking to start your dream home?
Hey Mark. Hope spring blooms brings new customers your way. You might be headed to Indy this weekend I hear from your folks in Charlotte? If so, I'll see you Saturday. Have other business in the area.
I was in your neighborhood just last weekend. Actually, I was about 200 mi. from Ripley as I was in Pittsburgh, but that's not too far of a drive. I used to visit Ripley, Morgantown and Wheeling fairly often in my past life... I'm an old PA boy myself and still a "Stiller" fan :-)
Welcome to Loghome.com's community, I think this will become a great place for like-minded folks to learn much from each other. I'm really pleased to see how this is evolving and I haven't stumbled upon anything like this in our industry. Kudos to them for launching this site for us.
Greetings, Donna! Glad to be part of the community. Spreading the word about the benefits of log construction and the companies that "do it right" is our quest. By the way, the photos (renderings) are of the 5 new models we recently introduced. Getting good comments on our website about them. Keep up the good work at Design.
Hey Mark! So glad you joined our community. We're working hard to get the benefits of log homes out there to EVERYONE and your great photos will certainly help do that! Welcome!
