Mark Norsworthy replied to Jeremy Reed's discussion What are my basement ceiling options??
"Could you consider building up 4X8 panels and then put up a frame like for a drop ceiling and placing the pre-built panels up into the frames. You could do just a few of these to gain access and the rest just the standard T&G installation. The…"

Mark: The worksheet is attached. I used this during our log home construction process 17 years ago and it really helped keep us on budget. It was also a big help when determining a budget. We actually determined our budget FIRST, then designed a home that fit the budget. As we consult with people the budget is THE most important factor to consider as when it comes to your "dream home". Our goal is to assist you with a home that fits your "STATED" budget. Just like goals, budgets only work when they are written down and worked towards. You're starting the research and planning stage early enough but don't forget to keep the numbers updated as the next few years pass by to keep the numbers current.
