"After you put your foam down you can run 2x4s vertically 16 inches on center and fasten them to your purlins through your foam insulation. Then you can.run your sheathing on them. Hope this helps."

On the outside there is 1" of foam and then the shingles. There is No ridge vent. I have 3 ugly roof vents on the back side of the home. I want to loose the round silver vents. Can a ridge vent be cut into this kind of roof?? Also I want to strip the old foam and re foam thicker, any ideas on this??? My local roofer is…See More
