I've hung around here for some time and I'm truly thankful for the many diverse viewpoints that are expressed here. You all were a great help to my wife and me as we journeyed down the road of selecting and building a log home. Ultimately, we decided to work with Timber Block, and we're extremely happy with the end product.

I didn't think we'd ever get to this point, but the wall-raising of our Timber Block home is just 15 days away, on June 21st. While I say "I didn't think we'd ever get to this point," in truth we've moved relatively quickly.
Last year we purchased 19 acres of land on top of a bluff in Wisconsin's Driftless Area, a region of tall bluffs and deep river valleys in the southwest part of the State. We're nearly at the confluence of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers.
