I designed my log home & found a builder then had it put on a little three acre lot in the White Mtns. of New Hampshire. I've really enjoyed working on the cabin myself...peeled logs, with a draw knife for the railings, inside and out. It's surely been a trip!
Are you lucky enough to be living in a log home?
YES!!!
What timeframe are you looking to start your dream home?
Norma,
I love all your pictures! Your home looks so inviting especially the front porch and wine rack!!! I love the cabinet hardware and the tin roof - actually I'm completely jealous of the roof. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Norma....we must be on the same latitude!! Front end loaders, skid steers, dozers, plows, we use them all! Your cabin is really awesome. A little further down the road, I too, would like to downsize. A cozy cabin on a lot of land. I had the exact same drawer and cabinet pulls in my kitchen in the cabin before this one. Great minds think alike!! Cheers.............
