If I were riding by, I would say look at that nice log home. Cute. I have had 3 log homes and it looks like a logger to me. Half, full or siding, very cool.
I would be surprised if these are full logs. Looks like all the outside walls(from the interior)are tongue and groove. Usually full logs walls are left exposed on the inside.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. Next stop, Medford Lakes, New Jersey. On to Rexford, Montana and now in White Sulphur Springs, Mt. with my husband, Joe!
Are you lucky enough to be living in a log home?
YES!
What timeframe are you looking to start your dream home?
N/A
Greetings everyone! I am a return visitor. I belonged to the "hood" a while ago, wanted to add pics, and ended up deleting the whole thing!! I am living in my dream loghome and it's gets better all the time!! It is good to be back, I missed all the good conversation.
" A fireplace - a stone, two story, fat-mantled, toe-warming, Christmas-stocking-hanging fireplace."
You are a linguistic genius! I can picture it and want to be there with my toe socks and marsh-mellows. I love that you were in LHL! Congrats!

Thanks for the nice words. Now for your questions. The Lanterns are Dietz Red, but they look sort of pink in the pictures. I made the door with the stained glass. It's really easy. Let me know if you want more info on that. You are on LogeHomeU. It's this website.
No one responded with photos showing how their chandeliers looked in the living area blending with ceiling fans or other kinds of light features in the other areas of the great room (such as the kitchen, dining room, etc.). If you'd send me pictures of yours, I'd be appreciative! Thanks Rita.
I am out of every loop when it comes to technological savvy of any sort
anyways ...
thank you for your comment - I guess you meant the house was awesome & that praise belongs 100% to our builder, Peter, & my wife, Kay, who dreamed the dream
& to Robert C who went looking for the place to build it
