Is this living the dream?!

After 8 years of planning, we finally have a beautiful log home.  HOWEVER...we are not living in it yet.  The build started a year ago, and we were near completion in December of 2010.  At christmas time we had a great family dinner there and BOY WAS IT COLD!  We hired an energy auditor to come and review the house.  He did a complete review.  Guess what, THE HOUSE FAILED MISERABLY.  He said that he had never seen anything like it.  You know it is bad when the energy auditor repeats the phrase… Continue
