Stairs going around a fireplace

We are looking at the castlerock floorplan from honest abe log homes and are wondering if anyone has seen or has pictures of a fireplace that is in a great room turned at a 45 degree angle and has stairs with a 90 degree turn going up behind it.  This seems to us that it would be something totally different but would like to get pictures or talk to people that have done this to make sure it will look like we are invisioning it.See More

"More things to think about; Also another thing to consider is a heat pump water heater.  Pricey I know...but some states now offer energy rebates (mine offers $300).  Now here is the deal...they cost mucho less to operate (although longer…"

"Those are great ideas on the plaques that you made.  I understand about the led lights now, sorry I thought it was the size of a plug that was an LED.  On your plugs and water bibs are those on the same side as your porch?  If so…"

"Great info.  We are hoping to find land that will accommodate a walkout basement.  We are trying to look long term and below that we would be wasting money if we built a house with 2 bedrooms upstairs, then within 5-10 yrs they will very…"

"The land dictates the design. If you have a walkout, add retaining walls, glass and interior finishes and avoid a two story above. A residential elevator sounds extreme, but for $10k and 5x5 closet space, converted later, it makes sense. If you have…"

"Its a personal preference thing.  A ground floor bedroom is great as you get older. If you can do a walk-out basement, that would be the way to go.  I have a small walk-out basement, and it is great.  Lets in a lot of natural light."
