- Hi Sheila, appreciate your input! We have a 5 gal. bucket of sikkens log pretreat which i planned to spray on soon and just leave until next spring when i will treat it with ... something else :) Is the sikkens pretreat what you were referring to when you said that woodguard and sikkens protected it the best? Also now that i have you here, we have been spraying the logs with bleach - not all of them, but just the stained areas, and we have little means of rinsing them off. I will be able to give them a slight rinse but nothing pressurized. I realize you are supposed to rinse thouroughly before applying any type of treatment, so do you think this sounds like a big problem and that the treatment won't work due to bleach reside on the logs?

- It is a single story with about 2200sf. It has 2 br and 2 1/2 baths. I already have the plan drawn by Katahdin. It will have a 1680sf walk-out basement but with no rooms. I already have septic-water and electricity on the property. We do not know yet if we will do a full turn-key job or a shell dry-in. I can fax you tomorrow a computer generated copy of the floor plan and views.

Sadly, I think that is the pnly one I won't be going to in the spring :( I'm really upset about it, considering Nashville is pretty much my favorite city in the U.S.! I'll be there in April for the Country Music Marathon but I'm still bummed!
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the show! Nashville is always a good city for us.
