Tell us about yourself:: My husband & I are avid outdoors people. We realized our dream of building a log home in Northern Michigan a few years ago. Time for an Autumn check. Northern Michigan is at 50% peak right now so I should have better photos in the upcoming weeks. Is there anything better than a log home decorated w/ fall leaves and pumpkins?! I think not! Here's what it's looking like in our neck of the woods. How about yours? (P.S. I have found I cannot buy enough pumpkins to decorate our log home. My hubby is grumbling that I am turning our place into a pumpkin patch. Ha!)…

Log Home Christmas

I'm looking forward to heading up north to spend Christmas in our log home! The place is decorated! Two feet of snow is already on the ground in northern Michigan! I've made tons of homemade treats! Autumn at the Log Home

This is my favorite time of year at our log home. Crunchy, colorful leaves, bonfires w/ marshmallows, and pumpkins all over the deck. Log Home Pets

I couldn't imagine having a log home without our puppy and kitty. They seem to complete our log home and make it that much more enjoyable.
