I am lucky enough to work for one of the best log home suppliers in the country. I have been a long time lover of log homes and hope to get started on our lake home in about two years. I am married and have four grown children, and my wife Terri & i are expecting our first grandchild in September.
Are you lucky enough to be living in a log home?
What timeframe are you looking to start your dream home?

Thanks for the call after the Log Home show in Minneapolis. We bought one of your design guides at the show, and low and behold, our plan was on page 52 minus the garage and sunroom. It even has the bump-out on the loft which I planned but haven't seen much before. It even solved a design brain-freeze I was having with the Master bedroom and bath.

Thanks for giving me a shout back. I sure hope we can make it up there this summer. It is sometimes hard for me to take off work tho in the summer months. We have been dreaming of this for some time and bought 10 wooded acres with a nice brook that is cleared for a home in the front. I would also love to come to the construction class sometime also. I hope all is going well with for you with the economy being down. Thanks again and hope to say hi to you sometime in person.
Hi Tim. I just read your message on Golden Eagle Homes and didn't realize that someone from Golden Eagle was on this sight. I am highly considering using Golden Eagle for our home. I have been talking to the Minors in Wamego, Ks. What do you do for them? We are thinking about maybe coming this summer sometime if things work out to visit you up there. Welcome to the LoghomeU.
