Hi Traci, Not many places to build a log home in Las Vegas. Have you looked around Cedar City, UT (about 2 hours from Vegas). The mountains down there are great. My cabin builder gets all of his logs from that area. He uses only dead free-standing pine, so he is being ecologically friendly with his choice of logs.
