Profile Information

Tell us about yourself:
I am a long time log home enthusiast that has recently realized my dream of ownership. Bought a magnificent log home very close to Lake Pomme De Terre. Retired, and enjoying relaxed mornings and tranquil days at our cabin in the woods. Life is great! God is greater! Thank you for your kindness toward your children. All good things come from you! I also am a car nut. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, and anything related to the outdoors. I was a land surveyor for 40 years. I am also a cancer survivor.
Are you lucky enough to be living in a log home?

I'm staying busier than I'd like to be. ...after all, deer season is upon us. I'm finishing up a new Katahdin Cedar Log Home in Cherokee county OK, started a dry-in this week in OK City for a 2nd Katahdin home and later this month begin re-stacking a vintage log home that was taken apart in Wyoming and shipped to Rogers county Oklahoma.

Post some pictures of your log home and the work you've done when you get a chance!
