New Home Contractor??

I'm anxiously "interviewing" log home companies for our home that we're going to build next spring, 2013.  I'm so overwhelmed with pricing,floorplans, options...etc.  Being near Wisconsin, there are no shortage of dealers/contractors.  How do you pick who to use?  I thought with the current economy that building labor costs would be much lower than they are.  The "log home package" companies are around $200 sq/ft for a basic floor plan and basic interior amenities.  Then there are companies…See More
