Wind damage

Has anyone had wind damage that blew the ceiling down on a vaulted great room?  I was told that it is not uncommon.

Hello Kevin, To determine the source of the leak you have to make it leak. I'm sure that sounds crazy but, if you use a hose and shoot water on the window starting at the bottom the leak will become obvious. Your builder should do this for you in order to get referrals in the future. It's just good business and it might not be his fault. If you are in the Mid Atlantic Region go to Homeexpertnow@aol.com and I'll find it for you at no cost and then we can determine the kind of repair that is needed. Jim Harbin
