Lake cumberland dream home

Hello everyone

My wife and I bought 3 acres in Kentucky on beautiful Lake cumberland from a land developer. All was going good the road was blacktopped and all the utilities were buried. All the lots as we were told would pass a perk-test so we thought. Some of the lot owners could not pass the perk-test as you could imagine we thought that we lost our dream home. Well in the last few years the developer went bankrupt they did not complete the roads and Phase 2 only has the road cut…

Done, well kind of!

Well, yes we are kind of done.  We finally moved back in mid-July.  As a result of that move and the packing of the card reader for the camera, we are somewhat behind posting pics and updating everyone.  Oh, and we've been busy too!


But, anyway, we are here finally.  We still have a few odds and ends to finish up, mainly the ceilings on the porches and drywall in the basement.  We are waiting for our window and door trim to show up.  We are having a bunch of old red pine made…
