How has winter been treating you this season? We've been pummeled in northern Michigan. In the area where our log home is located, we are well over 150 + inches of total snowfall.  Today was -26 degrees! Ouch! Our Bernese Mountain Dog named Scout is loving it.  I have to practically pick her up to carry her into the house because she doesn't want to come inside.  Me? I'm ready for Spring.  Bring it!

What a pretty dog! We've had close to double the amount of snowfall than normal here in Southern Illinois ourselves along with bitter cold to. My Golden Retriever/Basset Hound mix (yes that's right LOL) loves to swim in the creek no matter how cold it gets. This year it was froze over. She was obviously confused. Starting Friday (03/07) it looks like the back of Winter will be broken. Temps are to reach near 60 degrees and the temps ongoing will be at or above normal..........it's about time!
