Looking for a Ranch style floor plan...

Greeting Friends!

My husband and I are in search of a 1 story 2BR 1bath Ranch Style floor plan about 1500-1800 sq ft. to build as a vacation home.

All the plans I've found so far are 2 story...really to big for us. We don't want anything huge because we have a big home already. Do you all have any idea where i can find such a plan?

LaShauan,

Soak it all in, there are lots of plans and ideas out there. Shoot me a PM or email if you want and I will send you a questionnaire that will help you get your thoughts on paper and make it easier to shop suppliers and designers because you will be armed with information up front.

Good luck in your search!

Good morning LaShaun,
You can view all of our plans at stonemill.com. Our "rancher" is the Easterling, a bit big for what you desire, but about 98% of what we do is custom. Hope this helps you.

Hello!

Randy is right----nearly every company out there has a ranch plan. And if they have something that's close, you can certainly customize it. Remember, every "plan" offered by the hundreds of great log-home companies out there can be changed to suit your needs and lifestyle.

A low percentage of log homes are built from stock plans---they're merely used as launching points for your own creativity. Moreover, log-home companies are happy to work with you on changing these baseline plans. They have in-house design teams that will incorporate your design ideas to suit your budget.

Good luck!
