Proof my cat owns our log home!
Marvin the cat loves our trips up to our log home as much as we do! Seriously. If you saw how well he behaved in the cat carrier (no violent banging against the sides!) - you would believe me. But I have noticed that he has claimed ownership of our log home. I submit the following as proof!
Here Marvin is inspecting the logs with his teeth. Yep! Good enough for him!
This is his couch. If you're lucky, he might let you have the blanket.
Even though he doesn't wear shoes, this is now his shoe cube.
This is his chair. Go ahead...try and sit on it.
Now if he could only pay the mortgage.....

Shelley, this is a surprise to you? It has been my experience that cats seem to 'assume' ownership of any home... no debate... you exist for their pleasure :-)
We have two indoor cats, Puff and Pooh (no, I didn't name them) and they rule the roost. Even our 100 lb. Pyr takes marching orders from them.
Our 'shop cats' are the only critters around here that actually earn their keep, but I must admit - they do OWN the shop.
Yours is one beautiful cat, love that coloring.

Shelley, these photos are hilarious! Yes, I'd say Marv has figured out that weekends and log homes kind of go together like, um...cat nip and scratching posts. Enjoy the weekend! We have balmy temps (well, for February) and rain here in Virginia tonight. A little taste of spring, though!
