Thermal mass

I recently had a conversation with a knowledgeable young man that thermal mass did not matter when you consider energy savings. I promised him I would not bring it up again,but I have lived in log homes with solid log walls and they are extremely energy efficient. There, I said it for the last time. Jim Harbin
